Miło nam bardzo było, jak nasze pleszki po przylocie założyły gniazdo w budce dla sikor, tak jak w roku ubiegłym. Czytałam, że z reguły nie robią tak, że za każdym razem szukają nowego miejsca. Może myślą, że to nowe miejsce, bo budki są zimą opróżniane i czyszczone. Pleszki nam wyśpiewują, gwiżdżą, latają wkoło budki. Okno w salonie mamy na płot, gdzie często siadają. Tak też możemy je ciągle obserwować.
Ależ "słodzinki" przecudne! Tacy mieszkańcy ogrodu, to skarb. W moim "dzikim" ogrodzie, też jest wiele ptaków. Pięknego dnia!

UsuńWe also clean all our nest boxes in the fall, Ludmila. Amongst other reasons it prevents deer mice and squirrels from occupying them. The rate of reoccupancy the following spring is always high, sometimes by different species. Your pictures are delightful. Very best wishes -David
OdpowiedzUsuńThank you, I'm glad you like the photos. They're really close, but I don't want to disturb them. Besides birds, no one uses our nest boxes. They have small holes, and squirrels can't fit through. Our mice build other nests, and these wild dormice are rare here. Regards!

Thank you! My redstarts are my joy, a sign that my garden is bird-friendly. There are plenty of nesting sites, and I haven't used chemicals to control pests for many years. Sometimes I talk to them and ask them to be quiet, not to be afraid, or to use the watering hole. That's how friendly we are.

OdpowiedzUsuńDe gekraagde roodstaart is een prachtige vogel, maar wat bijzonder dat ze bij je in de tuin kwamen nestelen. Hier zie je ze over het algemeen alleen in vrij bosrijke gebieden. Je hebt van de gelegenheid goed gebruik gemaakt hetgeen geresulteerd heeft in een aantal prachtige foto's. Ook ik maak jaarlijks de nestkasten schoon, het voorkomt dat je in het voorjaar al meteen luizen erin krijgt.

Elk jaar broeden dezelfde vogels in onze nestkastjes en omgeving, dus ze lijken aan specifieke plekken te wennen. Ik heb gemerkt dat ze aan ons wennen en ons waarschijnlijk een beetje leuk vinden :-)
