Karmniki mamy w ogrodzie trzy. Jeden to ten wycięty przez Macieja z jednego kawałka drewna. Przed nim własnie stoi czatownia. Drugi - główny - wisi na jabłoni. Zrobiłam w nim wiele zdjęć ptaków oraz kilka lat temu miałam w nim kamerkę i robiłam filmy. Trzeci - to maleńki rezerwuar wiszący na brzozie,naprzeciwko kuchennego okna.
W tym sezonie ptaki niezbyt chętnie przylatują do karmników. Jest za ciepło, nie ma śniegu. Zawsze chętne są wróble, mazurki, dzwońce, sikory i sierpówki. Pod karmnikami pojawiły się zięby, kosy i rudzik.
W czatowni ostatnio siedziałam w grudniu. Może dlatego, że pogoda była cały czas kiepska w weekendy, było ciemno i mokro. Jeden dzień tak wiało, ze przewróciło czatownię i cała zmokła od wewnątrz. Postawiłam ją pod dachem, rozpięłam i wyschła. dziś na szczęście nadawała się do użytku. Ale podczas schnięcia zamieszkał chyba w nim jakiś kot, bo były ślady łapek i trochę pachniało kotem.

Thanks John! Not all birds are flying to feeders now, because courtship has begun through the warm winter.
UsuńSą piękne! Obejrzałam fotki w tajemnicy przed kotami coby złego nie kusić. U nas w tym roku kosowe arie słychać od początku stycznia. Sikorków i mazurków tyż sporo, mam wrażenie że jest ich więcej niż w zeszłym roku, pewnie aura sprzyjała. :-)

UsuńBravo Ludmila for feeding the birds who no doubt are repaying your kindness with fine entertainment. You have attracted a great variety of delightful species. You obviously don't have issues with squirrels visiting your feeders. Wooden feeders here would barely last a day before the squirrels chewed them to pieces.
OdpowiedzUsuńI did not realize that squirrels can be so bothersome. Our squirrels live in forests and parks. I've never seen them in my feeder. There are few species now. when the winter is strong, woodpeckers, hawfinches and other finches, goldfinches and several species arrive.

The feeder is sometimes the only place where we can observe our native birds! Our European birds are beautiful, colorful like paradise and are really amazing!

UsuńDespite the mild winter you have a good selection of species coming to your feeders Ludmila. Here we just seem to get Goldfinches and more Goldfinches. The balance is just not right.
OdpowiedzUsuńYou have goldfinches, I'm not here! But you're right. There are many species of birds in my garden. Some of them establish nearby nests in spring. Because of this, I have allies in the fight against pests.
